“Creativity is seeing what everyone else has seen, and thinking what no one else has thought.”
– Albert Einstein
Conventional wisdom says a brand should pick a logo and stick with it to establish brand identity. We're not disputing that, we just like to think outside the conventional box and be creative with the way we present our business depending on the application we're using.
We're big fans of vintage concert posters and craft beer labels (one of the reasons we love Asheville!), especially bands and beers who use limitless creativity with their presentation. The name of the band or beer always remains the same, but the way it's presented differs with almost every concert tour and craft beer flavor. How fun! I think in my second life I'd like to come back and take lessons on how to be a craft beer label creator :)
So if you're wondering why you'll see multiple logos for our brand, it's because it's WAY more fun trying to be creative while doing what we want :)
This is the primary logo that will always appear on the side of the crates.
This one is for stickers and t-shirts, even though Maranda says EVERYone knows where Asheville is.
We use this one for hang tags and business cards. Takes a portion of the N.C. state flag and makes it handmade.
Prominently tells social media channels we're from Asheville and our vintage products are handmade in the USA. Yeeeeah!
If you've purchased one of our crates (thanks!) you'll see a Handmade in the USA stamp on the bottom. Effective 1/20/18 this will be the new bottom stamp.
